Helping organizations change can be challenging work.  Sometimes it is simply because change itself is hard.  More often it is because most organizations aren't very good at it.  So, when they are trying to change, they are rarely at their best.

If you are internal to the organization, you may think you already know what is going on.  You do, to a point; but you may not have a clear a picture as you need.  If you are external, you have some assumptions about what is going on but you need to learn more.  Both perspectives benefit greatly by using a comprehensive framework to fully understand the situation in a changing organization.

This insightful webinar provides a deep insight into how you can help your organization change more effectively.  The critically important skill you must master when helping organizations change is to objectively understand the situation.  Take this webinar and learn how to shape the right perspective for your next move in your changing organization.

In this session, participants will learn:

  • Explore 7 lenses of enquiry that provide a comprehensive understanding of any changing organization.  They are: overall system, change model and support, strategic message, project management capability, communication, archetype, and life cycle.
  • Apply each of these lenses to your own organization and determine what gap exists in your current understanding of the situation.
  • Outline some next steps you can take to add more value in your changing organization.
Who Should Attend
If you are currently are, or soon want to be, involved with helping organizations change, this program is for you.  Internals and externals, HR/OD/T&D/L&D professionals are all encouraged to attend.  Regardless if you are new to this work or have been involved for decades, the information shared should be very useful.

 

Facilitator
Chris Edgelow is the Founder & President of Sundance Consulting Inc.  For more than 30 years, he has consulted with a diverse range of organizations around the world in every sector of the economy.  His work has always focused on the mystery and magic of people, organizations, and change.  Chris developed and pioneered The Integrated Approach to Leading Change TM.  He has written and published numerous articles, booklets, workbooks, and facilitator guides on a variety of topics relating to helping organizations change.  Predominately practical in his approach, Chris is an engaging and gifted facilitator and dynamic, down-to-earth speaker.  He has taught at the University level and is a sought after conference speaker.

How to Register

Every person attending this webinar must be registered (and paid for) individually.

IMPORTANT: Registering someone other than yourself? If you are a member and are registering someone else to attend the event, DO NOT log into the site to register. If the other person is a member, they must log in using their own member ID and password and register that way. If the other person is not a member, do not log in, just register them from the public area of the website. Registrations must be done online.

The registration deadline is 12 noon on Thursday, March 29, 2018.  Please note that registrations are not possible after online registration has closed.  

Important note: Both registration and payment are required for every person attending this webinar.

Payment Terms

Payment is due within 30 days of registration or by the registration deadline of March 29, 2018 (whichever is earlier). Payments may be made conveniently online by Visa/Mastercard at the time of registration or by cheque received by the registration deadline. Cheques must be received within 30 days of registration or by March 29 (whichever is earlier) by CPHR Nova Scotia at 84 Chain Lake Drive, Suite 103, Halifax, NS B3S 1A2. Registrations March 21st or later must be paid by Visa/MC at time of registration.

If paying online by Visa or Mastercard, you must have the billing address exactly as it appears on the credit card statement or the transaction will be declined. This is a security feature for your protection.

 

Cancellation Policy

A full refund, less a $40+HST processing fee, will be issued for cancellations received in writing by March 23rd at 12:00 noon. Those who make reservations and do not attend will still be required to pay for the full session fee. Cancellations received by CPHR Nova Scotia in writing by 12 noon on March 23, 2018 will only be charged the processing fee. Substitutions are permitted if received by April 3 at 12:00 noon (for substitutions, the registrant must advise our office of their replacement in writing by 12 noon on April 3rd including the full name, email and phone number of the substitution). Member/non-member rates will be applied to the substitutions. This cancellation policy applies regardless of date of registration. Registrations after the cancellation deadline are non-refundable.
