Roundtables are an excellent opportunity for knowledge and information sharing among members.
Participants are asked to note their top 3 topic preferences in the RSVP comments of their registration so trends on topics can be determined. When the session begins, the topics for the roundtable discussion will be prioritized and agreed to.
Sharon Robinson, CPHR, Director of Human Resources, Workers' Compensation Board of Nova Scotia
Sharon is an experienced human resources leader who is passionate about aligning people programs and services with the business's objectives and its strategic plan, to enable organizational success. In her current role as Director of Human Resources with the Workers' Compensation Board of Nova Scotia, Sharon provides strategic leadership for the functional areas of Talent Management, Total Rewards, Occupational Health, Safety and Wellness, Learning and Development and Labour Relations.
As a proponent of the human resources business partner model at all levels in an organization, Sharon champions projects and initiatives by providing credible advice and counsel on the people impacts of organizational change, collaborating to develop strategies and plans that contribute to successful implementation, adoption, benefits realization and overall performance.
Sharon is a long-time member of CPHR Nova Scotia and currently a member of the CPHR Nova Scotia Board of Directors. Sharon is committed to promoting professional development has volunteered as a member of a number of committees provincially and nationally. Sharon is the recipient of the 2017 HR Award of Excellence from CPHR Nova Scotia. She is a graduate of Dalhousie University, has earned certifications in Strategic Workforce Planning and Change Management and has completed the Strategic Human Resources Management program through the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.

The registration deadline is Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at 12 noon (or earlier if the event is sold out). Please note that registrations are not possible after online registration has closed. Registration cannot be purchased at the door.
Important note: Registrants must renew their membership for the period starting September 1, 2018 (by August 31, 2018) in order to participate as a member at this member-only session. Members who register and do not renew will not be able to participate in this member only event and will therefore forfeit any fee paid for this event as the event is non-refundable.
Payment is due by the registration deadline or within 30 days of your registration (whichever is earlier). Payments made be made conveniently online at time of registration by Visa/Mastercard or by cheque received by the registration deadline. Cheques must be received by the registration deadline (September 11) by CPHR Nova Scotia, 84 Chain Lake Drive, Suite 103, Halifax, NS B3S 1A2. Registrations August 28th or later must be paid online at time of registration.
If paying by Visa or Mastercard, you must have the billing address exactly as it appears on the credit card statement or the transaction will be declined. This is a security feature for your protection.
This event is non-refundable. Substitutions are permitted (substitution with another member) up to two business days before the event (for substitutions, the registrant must advise our office of their replacement in writing by 10:00am on Friday, September 14).
