Checklist for Eligibility
Prior to submitting your application for an NKE waiver, please ensure that you have met all criteria for your program. Eligibility criteria can be found on our Post Secondary Institution Accreditation Page on this website.
An official transcript sent directly to CPHR Nova Scotia by the granting educational institution will be required as proof of graduation from an Accredited Program and to ensure you have met the minimum grade requirement. You must make arrangements yourself for the educational institution to send that to us for receipt within ten business days of applying for this waiver.
Once received, the application for waiver will be reviewed and the applicant notified of the result. Please allow 7-10 business days for the waiver to be reviewed and processed once you complete all of the steps. You will be notified by mail once it has been processed. If awarded the waiver, your next membership renewal will be at the Candidate dues level.
Current NKE Waiver Fee: $375 plus HST
Please complete the following in full and select the NKE Waiver Fee on the second tab, and make the payment when prompted.
Important Note: Waiver applications are non-refundable regardless of outcome.
