Inadequate communication continues to be one of the top three reasons change fails in most organizations. Many changing organizations rely on various forms of technology to communicate change information. This reliance gets them only so far, and it is usually not very far at all. 

Communicating Change is a comprehensive, practical program that ensures changing organizations are up to the challenge of helping everyone wrap their brains, arms and heart around all the changes. 

In this presentation, you will learn:

  • Explore the complexity of the challenge of communication facing every changing organization.
  • Determine the essential principles behind the Who, What, When & How to ensure communication engages everyone.
  • Apply a variety of helpful communication tools to the situation in your own changing organization.
  • Outline a plan to significantly improve the level of engagement in your changing organization.

Who should attend:

  • Everyone in a changing organization who is in a position where they must communicate change related information. This includes supervisors, team leaders, managers, directors, executives, project teams and communication professionals.

Chris Edgelow is the Founder & President of Sundance Consulting Inc and Lost Creek Press Ltd, organizations dedicated to providing consulting / training services and publishing a variety of resources that help organizations change. For more than 30 years, Chris has worked extensively throughout North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. He has taught at the university level and is a sought-after speaker at many conferences each year. Always engaging and very practical in his approach, Chris help people face the reality of what is currently happening in their organizations and find ways to build the necessary leadership competencies that will ensure their changes succeed.

How to Register

Every person attending this webinar must be registered (and paid for) individually.

IMPORTANT: Registering someone other than yourself? If you are a member and are registering someone else to attend the event, DO NOT log into the site to register. If the other person is a member, they must log in using their own member ID and password and register that way. The registration deadline is 12 noon on Thursday, November 7, 2019.  Please note that registrations are not possible after online registration has closed.  

Important note: Both registration and payment are required for every person attending this webinar.

Payment Terms

Payment is due within 30 days of registration or by the registration deadline of November 7, 2019 (whichever is earlier). Payments may be made conveniently online by Visa/Mastercard at the time of registration or by cheque received by the registration deadline. Cheques must be received within 30 days of registration or by November 7 (whichever is earlier) by CPHR Nova Scotia at 84 Chain Lake Drive, Suite 103, Halifax, NS B3S 1A2. Registrations October 24 or later must be paid by Visa/MC at time of registration.

If paying online by Visa or Mastercard, you must have the billing address exactly as it appears on the credit card statement or the transaction will be declined. This is a security feature for your protection.

 

Cancellation Policy

A full refund, less a $40+HST processing fee, will be issued for cancellations received in writing by October 24 at 12:00 noon. Those who make reservations and do not attend will still be required to pay for the full session fee. Cancellations received by CPHR Nova Scotia in writing by 12 noon on October 24, 2019 will only be charged the processing fee. Substitutions are permitted if received by November 12 at 12:00 noon (for substitutions, the registrant must advise our office of their replacement in writing by 12 noon on November 12 including the full name, email and phone number of the substitution). Member/non-member rates will be applied to the substitutions. This cancellation policy applies regardless of date of registration. Registrations after the cancellation deadline are non-refundable.
