Empowering the Future of HR
At CPHR Nova Scotia, we are committed to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within the HR profession. We are excited to announce the availability of ten bursaries specifically designed to support newcomers, equity group members, recent graduates, and those new to their HR careers.
Bursary Criteria
To be considered for the bursary, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Financial Need
- Demonstrate a genuine need for financial assistance to support your HR education and career development.
- Background and Status
- Be a newcomer to Canada, a member of an equity group, a recent graduate, or new to the HR profession.
- Career Aspirations
- Share your career goals and how you plan to contribute to the HR field.
- Educational Background
- Provide details of your educational background, including any HR-related courses or certifications.
- Commitment to HR
- Show your dedication to the HR profession through past experiences, volunteer work, or other relevant activities.
- Potential for Impact
- Explain how receiving this bursary will help you make a positive impact in the HR community and beyond.
- Support and References
- Include letters of support or references from mentors, educators, or employers who can attest to your qualifications and potential.

Application Deadline: July 31, 2025
Judging Panel: Applications will be reviewed by the Bursary Committee
How to Apply
To apply for the CPHR Nova Scotia Bursary, please complete the online application form and submit all required documents by the deadline. We look forward to supporting the next generation of HR professionals and helping you achieve your career aspirations.
The bursary recipients will have the option to chose between two bursary packages which must be used within 12 months.
