Join CPHR Nova Scotia for a special March Break edition of our CPHR Social Series, designed to be welcoming for members, families, and children of all ages, while also being just as enjoyable for those attending on their own. This immersive cultural experience takes place at Membertou Heritage Park, a living history site dedicated to sharing Mi’kmaq culture, traditions, and teachings. Participants will enjoy a guided tour of the museum and Heritage Park, followed by a hands-on Mi’kmaq Dream Catcher Workshop led by a traditional guide. What to Expect- Guided cultural tour of Membertou Heritage Park, including museum exhibits, displays, and a video introduction to Mi’kmaq history and culture
- Mi’kmaq Dream Catcher Workshop:
- Create and take home a locally handcrafted dream catcher
- Learn the story of its origin and cultural significance
- Cultural teachings shared by a traditional guide
- Complimentary tea and coffee provided during the experience
