Session Topic

Join the Department of Labour & Advanced Education for a high-level introduction into all Provincial business programs and hiring incentives that are available to employers in Nova Scotia. You will learn how to access and apply for funding resources such as Graduate to Opportunity, Innovate to Opportunity or START. You will also determine your eligibility for training employee programs like SkillsOnlineNS, Workplace Education and Workplace Innovation & Productivity Incentive (WIPSI). 


We will ensure you become familiar with the provincially funded supports available to help you find the talent your organization is looking for. All of our programs are designed to help your business grow, while retaining Nova Scotian talent at the same time.

Margaret is a Strategic Initiatives and Youth Outreach Coordinator with the NS Department of Labour and Advanced Education. Also, a MSVU Public Relations graduate, she currently helps employers and youth access funding to create new jobs and meaningful career opportunities in Nova Scotia.
