Learn how to effectively plan ahead to save money at the grocery store and nutritious, cost-effective ingredient substitutes for your favorite recipes, including protein-rich meat substitutes 12:30pm – 1:30pm AST - Wellness Seminar: Nutritional Super BoostersWith a busy schedule, quick and healthy meals may seem daunting or challenging. You might be temped to get takeout but often, this option is not the healthiest. Times like these happen frequently, even when working from home – but with the right nutritional hacks, you can easily super-charge quick and tasty meals with added protein, fibre, vitamins and minerals. Chef Mike will guide you through three easy and delicious recipes with multiple nutritional hacks that will have you wondering why you ever ordered in. 2:00pm – 2:45pm AST - Fitness Class: Low Impact Interval Training (LIIT)Using cardio and muscle-conditioning intervals, this low-impact workout will improve your cardiovascular fitness, core strength and agility. Light hand weights, soup cans or paper weights can be used. 3:30pm – 4:45pm AST - Wellness Seminar: Personal Resiliency & Positive Mental HealthLearn how the mind body connection can be used to enhance positive mental health, manage stress and improve vitality. 4:00pm – 4:45pm AST - Fitness Class: YogaFlexibility, mobility and core strength, leaving you feeling calm and centered.
