About the Facilitator Austin McLennan, CPHR Senior Consultant, Meridia Recruitment Solutions Austin McLennan is a Senior Consultant at Meridia, specializing in connecting top talent with leading organizations in Atlantic Canada. With a focus on engineering, construction, operations, and HR recruitment, Austin is known for building strong, lasting relationships and understanding the unique and specialized needs of both candidates and employers. Austin's dedication to quality service and outstanding candidate care has earned him a strong reputation in the industry. He leverages his advanced recruitment knowledge and strategies to help individuals grow their careers and achieve their professional goals. He began his career as an HR Coordinator with FEED NOVA SCOTIA where he first found his passion for recruitment, building that into his next role focusing on engineering and technical roles with a national recruitment firm with roots in Alberta. He obtained his CPHR designation in 2022 and has previously served on the Board of Directors for the Construction Association of Nova Scotia and chaired the CANS Emerging Leaders Committee. Originally from Edmonton, Austin moved to Halifax in 2006 to play football for Saint Mary’s University and has since made Halifax his home.
