Description
Stress impacts focus, decision making, communication, memory, and adaptability. Many professionals are unknowingly working against their nervous systems, leading to burnout and reduced effectiveness.
This session explores how stress affects performance and offers simple, practical tools to regulate in the moment, improve focus, and support sustainable productivity.
Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of stress and strategies to strengthen resilience and well being at work.
Learning Outcomes
- Understand how stress impacts executive functioning, focus, and decision-making
- Recognize early nervous system signs of stress and overload
- Identify common workplace patterns that increase reactivity and burnout
- Apply simple nervous system regulation tools to interrupt the stress response, and improve clarity and focus
- Use “the pause” to respond more intentionally under pressure
- Develop greater awareness of the connection between body state, communication, and workplace performance
About the Facilitator
Joanne Hudspith
Joanne Hudspith is an embodiment coach, movement educator and writer, and founder of Your Connected Path. She is a self-confessed nervous system geek, and her fascination with the mind-body connection is at the heart of her work. She supports her clients, students and readers by helping them get curious and connect the dots between patterns in mind, body and the nervous system.
