This session is geared towards anyone who works in a changing environment, gives feedback on job performance, deals with difficult people, or needs to develop a positive approach in communicating.
Guest Speaker: Anita Nicholson Anita Nicholson is an independent corporate trainer based in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. She has over 20 years of experience planning, designing and delivering a variety of training programs to meet corporate requirements. She provides expertise in all areas of corporate training including client presentation, comprehensive needs analysis, as well as program design and delivery. She works closely with clients from Canada, the US and Singapore to ensure needs are met.
Her courses in Communication Skills and Team Building include modules on Listening Skills, Behaviour and Attitude, Leading and Participating in Effective Meetings, Problem Solving, Conflict Resolution, Motivating Employees, Managing Change, Decision Making and Understanding Customer Needs.
Anita holds a B.A in Languages and Linguistics from Carleton University, Ottawa, Ontario and an M.A in Linguistics from the University of Calgary, Alberta. She has continuing education courses in Adult Teaching Methods from UBC, Vancouver B.C. She has further education in Train-the Trainer and Program Analysis.
