Introduction to Appreciative Inquiry This half day session is an introduction to the world of Appreciative Inquiry (AI). AI is a model for change that focuses on the positive. It is a clearly defined process that enables groups and organizations to create a better future. As Human Resource Professionals, there is a role we can play as facilitator and change agent.
The workshop will cover the following:
- Defining AI
- Where, Why and How AI is used
- The Principles of AI
- The AI Process
- Hands on Interactive Session
- The Local and Global Implications of Appreciative Inquiry

About the Speaker: Brenda Fair, CHRP of Fairwinds Training & Development is actively involved in several community based organizations and is a past Board Member of HRANS. She has been working with Public and private sector clients for 16 years, assisting them as they develop new visions and plans for the future. She has incorporated the AI process into the Strategic Planning and Team Development processes with her clients and sees the incredible difference between the AI approach and a traditional deficit model.
