Join your colleagues for an interactive discussion on topics that may happen in your workplaces and affect you individually as HR professionals. Learn from your peers on how they manage various situations and share strategies that you have used to manage the unexpected in your role.

The group will determine the top topics that they will discuss at the start of the session. Some examples may include things like how do you manage when an employee has passed away and other employees are looking to you for support, what do you do if managers do not realize the importance of and their role in HR, what happens if there is an attempted suicide, dating in the workplace, etc.

Payment Terms

Payment is due by the registration deadline, which is Tuesday, December 4, 2012.  Payments can be made online by credit card at the time of registration or by cheque.  Cheques must be received by the registration deadline by HRANS at 84 Chain Lake Drive, Suite 103, Halifax, NS B3S 1A2.

Cancellation Policy

To those who make reservations and do not attend will be required to pay the full registration fee.  Cancellations received in writing prior to noon on Friday, November 30, 2012 will not be required to pay the registration fee.  Refunds are only available if received in writing prior to noon on Friday, November 30, 2012.  Substitutions are permitted up to the day of the event.  Member/non-member rates will be applied.  This cancellation policy applies regardless of your date of registration.
