About the Speaker

Tony Mozvik, Partner, The Breton Law Group, has established an in-depth knowledge of administrative and labour law, human resources and employee relations, human rights law, Charter rights law, negotiation and arbitration, as well as civil and criminal litigation.  Tony has served as Vice Chair of the Nova Scotia Labour Board since 1998.  He has provided legal advice and support to a number of First Nations communities, school boards, and numerous community organizations throughout Cape Breton.

Tony also contributes his time and expertise as a valuable volunteer to the Highland Village, YMCA, Open Door Homeless Shelter, Touch on Wood and Ring 73 in both Membertou and Glace Bay.  He is also the Vice President of the Cape Breton Barristers' Society and sits on the Board of Governors of Cape Breton University.

The registration deadline is Friday, March 29, 2013 at 12:00 noon. Please note that registrations cannot be accepted after online registration has closed. Registration cannot be purchased at the door.

Payment Terms

Payment is due by the registration deadline which is Friday, March 29, 2013. Payments may be made conveniently online by credit card (Visa/MC) at the time of registration or by cheque received to the HRANS office by the registration deadline. Cheques (payable to Human Resources Association of Nova Scotia) must be received by the registration deadline (March 29) by HRANS at 84 Chain Lake Drive, Suite 103, Halifax, NS B3S 1A2.

If paying by credit card (Visa/MC), you will be required to enter the billing address exactly as it appears on the credit card statement or the transaction will be declined.  This is a safety feature for your protection.  Please ensure that you have the address that appears on the credit card statement before attempting to pay online.

Cancellation Policy

A full refund, less a $25 administration fee (plus HST), will be issued for cancellations received in writing prior to Friday, March 22, 2013 at 12:00 noon. Those who make reservations and do not attend will be required to pay the full seminar fee. Cancellations received in writing prior to noon on Friday, March 22, 2013 will only be charged the administrative fee. Substitutions are permitted up to the day of the event.  Member/non-member rates will be applied to the substitutions. This cancellation policy applies regardless of date of registration. Registrations after the cancellation deadline are non-refundable.
