About the Speaker
Krista Soucy, CHRP, Director of HR, Staples Inc.
Krista is a seasoned HR professional with over 20 years of progressive HR experience in both the telecommunications and retail industries. During that time, she's been responsible for HR strategy development and implementation, business planning, project management, performance management and competency development along with recruitment, coaching and development. Currently, the Director of HR for Staples, Inc., the world's largest office products company and second largest internet retailer. Krista leads a talented team of HR professionals in both the US and Canada supporting over 2500 employees in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Regina, Saskatchewan, Florence, Kentucky, and Aurora, Colorado with Staples, Inc. She lives in Halifax with her family of two children and a tiny Shih-poo dog who thinks he's a Doberman.
