About the Facilitator As the Career Solutions Practice Leader at Knightsbridge Robertson Surrette, April Howe has worked as a Consultant and Career Coach for over 11 years. She is a Certified Myers Briggs Practitioner, and as a Trained Group Facilitator. Her expertise in delivering focused career direction is built on a unique combination of honesty, a natural ability to connect with people, and a passion to see clients through to success. April has been instrumental in helping professionals to senior executives connect with their authentic vocation. April became certified as a Career Coach in 2008 and is a Member of the International Coaching Federation, Nova Scotia Chapter. An active community member, April is proud to serve as Chair of the Africville Heritage Trust and was recently named to the Board of the Black Business Initiative. Previously she served as HR Chair on the Board of Dress for Success and has been involved with the Co-operative Housing Sector for over 15 years, serving on the Board of a local 60-unit housing co-operative and the Cooperative Housing Federation of Canada's Diversity Committee representing Atlantic Canada. If you are a member and are registering someone else to attend the event, DO NOT log into the site to register. If the other person is a member, they must log in using their own member ID and password and register that way. If the other person is not a member, do not log in, just register them from the public area of the website. Registrations must be done online. The registration deadline is Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at 12:00 noon. Please note that registrations are not possible after online registration has closed. Registration cannot be purchased at the door.
Payment Terms Payments may be made conveniently online by Visa/Mastercard at the time of registration or by cheque received by March 26th. Cheques must be received by March 26 by HRANS at 84 Chain Lake Drive, Suite 103, Halifax, NS B3S 1A2. Registrations March 19th or later must be paid by Visa/MC at time of registration. If paying online by Visa or Mastercard, you must have the billing address exactly as it appears on the credit card statement or the transaction will be declined. This is a security feature for your protection. Cancellation Policy Registrations are non-refundable. Those who make reservations and do not attend will be required to pay for the full session fee. Substitutions are permitted up to the business day before the event (for substitutions, the registrant must advise our office of their replacement in writing by 12 noon on March 31st, and must supply the full name of the replacement as well as the substitution's direct email and telephone number). Member/non-member rates will be applied to the substitutions. This cancellation policy applies regardless of date of registration. Registrations are non-refundable.
