As baby-boomers retire, the exodus of experienced managers is creating a global shortage of talent.  Unfortunately, most companies are ill prepared for what experts are calling a 'global succession crisis'.  As the talent pool continues to diminish, companies that scramble to fill vacancies will not be able to compete with businesses that have learned how to develop an internal pipeline of talent.

The vast majority of companies's succession planning efforts fail because business leaders have largely abdicated the responsibility of employee talent development to Human Resources.  Succession Planning that Works recognizes the critical role that line managers play in developing future leaders and helps HR professionals learn how to simplify the process to reduce the administrative burden that both have traditionally borne.  Participants will learn how to generate senior leadership buy-in for a formal succession plan and will discover what HR professionals can do to engage line managers in its execution.

How to Register

The registration deadline is 12:00 noon on Tuesday, August 4, 2015.  Please note that registrations are not possible after online registration has closed.

Payment Terms

Payment is due within 30 days of registration or by the registration deadline of August 4, 2015 (whichever is earlier).  Payments may be made conveniently online by Visa/Mastercard at the time of registration or by cheque received by the registration deadline.  Cheques must be received within 30 days of registration or by August 4 (whichever is earlier) by HRANS at 84 Chain Lake Drive, Suite 103, Halifax, NS B3S 1A2.  Registrations July 15th or later must be paid by Visa/MC at time of registration.

If paying online by Visa or Mastercard, you must have the billing address exactly as it appears on the credit card statement or the transaction will be declined.  This is a security feature for your protection.

 

Cancellation Policy

A full refund, less a $30+HST administration fee, will be issued for cancellations received in writing prior to Wednesday, July 28, 2015 at 12:00noon. Those who make reservations and do not attend will still be required to pay for the full session fee.  Cancellations received by HRANS in writing prior to noon on Wednesday, July 28, 2015 will only be charged the administration fee.  Substitutions are permitted if received by August 10 at 12 noon (for substitutions, the registrant must advise our office of their replacement in writing by 12 noon on August 10th including the full name, email and phone number of the substitution).  Member/non-member rates will be applied to the substitutions.  This cancellation policy applies regardless of date of registration.  Registrations after the cancellation deadline are non-refundable.
