The pace of change in today's workforce will keep leaders and HR professionals on their toes as they try to maintain the right employee mix required to achieve their strategy. Many organizations will attempt to achieve their ever changing goals with the same people doing the same things, day after day.
Strategic Workforce Planning is a multi-step process which enables organizations to efficiently and effectively achieve their goals. It carefully assesses where the organization is going in response to the market and environment and then builds the team to reflect the new reality.
In this workshop, participants will explore the steps of:

About the Facilitator
Brenda Fair, CHRP
Brenda has been a principal of Fairwinds Training and Development since 1995 and in that time has worked with many local and national businesses and organizations. A graduate of Acadia University, Brenda received her Certified Human Resources Professional designation in 2001. Brenda has served as a Board Director for both the Human Resources Association of Nova Scotia and the Halifax Chamber of Commerce. She is the Past Commodore (Chair) of the Cheema Aquatic Club, a globally recognized Sprint Canoe and Kayak racing club and home of six Olympic athletes. Since 2009, Brenda has been a facilitator with Saint Mary's University Executive and Professional Development in various certificate programs. Brenda focuses her client work in the areas of organizational leadership and team development. In addition, she provides HR consulting services, facilitation, and training in many other content areas.

IMPORTANT: Registering someone other than yourself? If you are a member and are registering someone else to attend the event, DO NOT log into the site to register. If the other person is a member, they must log in using their own member ID and password and register that way. If the other person is not a member, do not log in, just register them from the public area of the website. Registrations must be done online.
The registration deadline has been extended to Friday, November 27, 2015, at 4:00 pm. Please note that registrations are not possible after online registration has closed. Registration cannot be purchased at the door. Registrations from this point forward must be paid at time of registration.
Payment Terms
Payment is due by the registration deadline which is Monday, November 23, 2015. Payments may be made conveniently online at time of registration by Visa/Mastercard or by cheque received by the registration deadline. Cheques must be received by the registration deadline (Oct 21) by HRANS at 84 Chain Lake Drive, Suite 103, Halifax, NS B3S 1A2. Registrations November 12th or later must be paid online at time of registration.
If paying online by Visa or Mastercard, you must have the billing address exactly as it appears on the credit card statement or the transaction will be declined. This is a security feature for your protection.
Cancellation Policy
A full refund, less a $30+HST processing fee, will be issued for cancellations received in writing prior to Monday, November 16th at 12:00noon. Those who make reservations and do not attend will be required to pay for the full session fee. Cancellations received in writing prior to 12:00 noon on Monday, November 16, 2015 will only be charged the processing fee. Substitutions are permitted up to the business day before the event (for substitutions, the registrant must advise our office of their replacement in writing by 12 noon on December 1). Member/non-member rates will be applied to the substitutions. This cancellation policy applies regardless of date of registration. Registrations after the cancellation deadline are non-refundable.
