We are pleased to partner with NSGEU to bring our members NSGEU's nationally recognized learning on Bully-Free Workplaces.

Organizational Leadership recognizes that how people behave toward one another at work is important for employee health and well-being. Bullying is a form of workplace mistreatment which leads to 'mental injury', or harm to employee mental health. The Bully-Free Workplaces program provides education and resources to understand and respond to situations at work.
This session provides:
- Definition and understanding of workplace bullying
- Ways in which bullying behaviour may occur
- Why it can remain hidden/unaddressed in the workplace
Organizational and self-awareness and steps to take when bullying happens
- Physical and psychological (mental) health impacts
- Documentation, inquiry and conflict resolution
- Personal, informal and formal interventions
Tools and remedies
- Change workplace culture
- Employer policy
- Restorative practices for sustainable change
About the Facilitator
The NSGEU has been recognized nationally and internationally for its leadership role in developing and implementing facilitated programs to address bullying and psychological health in the workplace. Their program aligns with the main objectives of the National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace.

How to Register
To register, click on the Register link above. Pre-registration is required. The registration deadline is 12:00 noon on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 or until the session is at capacity. We suggest that you register early to secure your spot as these sessions fill quickly.
Payment Terms
Payment is required with registration for non-members. Registration for this event is non-refundable.
Cancellation Policy
Even though this event is free for members, it is very important that any member who registers then is unable to attend advise us as soon as you know (or by June 1st at the latest) in the event other members are interested in attending. We also incur costs for the event. Substitutions are permitted up to June 13th at 12:00 noon. To substitute, the registrant must email us advising of the substitution by 12:00 noon on Tuesday, June 13, 2017.
