About the Facilitator
Mary-Jo MacKay, Senior Policy Analyst, Strategic Policy and External Relations
Nova Scotia Office of Immigration
Mary-Jo is a Senior Policy Analyst with the Nova Scotia Office of Immigration where she works on corporate policy initiatives, stakeholder engagement and recruitment. Prior to this position, Mary-Jo spent 13 years with the Provincial Departments of Communities Culture and Heritage, and Tourism Culture and Heritage working primarily on the heritage file.
Mary-Jo is a passionate advocate for workplace engagement and inclusion and has experience working internationally in Europe, Latin America and Africa. Mary-Jo holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Carleton University, an Environmental Engineering Diploma from the University College of Cape Breton and a Master of Environmental Studies Degree from the University of Waterloo.

Limited seating is available. We encourage you to register early as our events often fill early.
Payment Terms
Payment is due by the registration deadline (March 28th) or within 30 days of your registration (whichever is earlier). Payments may be made conveniently online at time of registration by Visa/Mastercard or by cheque received by the registration deadline. Cheques must be received by the registration deadline (March 28th) by HRANS at 84 Chain Lake Drive, Suite 103, Halifax, NS B3S 1A2. Registrations March 22nd or later must be paid online at time of registration.
If paying online by Visa or Mastercard, you must have the billing address exactly as it appears on the credit card statement or the transaction will be declined. This is a security feature for your protection.
Cancellation Policy
This event is non-refundable. Non-member paying registrants may send a replacement and the individual registered must advise HRANS in writing by 12 noon on Tuesday, March 4th of their replacement (name, email, and telephone number). Members who register to attend and are no longer able to attend must advise HRANS in writing as soon as possible or by Wednesday, March 29th at 12 noon at the latest as costs are incurred by the Association.
