Mike is a Labour & Employment Partner at McInnes Cooper. Mike regularly assists non-unionized and unionized employers with a range of human resources matters, including employee terminations, accommodation, contract drafting, policy review, and collective bargaining and collective agreement administration. He also represents employers in related litigation, including wrongful dismissal claims, grievance arbitrations, human rights complaints, union certification applications, workers’ compensation and occupational health and safety matters.

Rebecca is a partner in the labour and employment group of Stewart McKelvey, with a focus on management side labour law. She assists large national companies, owner managed businesses and non-profits in the areas of labour and employment, human rights, administrative law and occupational health and safety. She is also the Managing Partner of the Halifax office.

Bryna is the founding partner of Fraser Hatt Law. She is dedicated to providing clients with professional and timely service. It is with this view, she has built strong and trusting relationships with her clients.

The Post-Covid Workplace: Current Trends in Salary and Benefits and the Right to Disconnect Anna-Marie Manley & Kristen Stallard - Lawyers, Patterson Law Anna-Marie has a strong labour and employment practice. She assists both employers and employees, with a focus on providing practical advice that makes sense in the workplace. She can assist with developing workplace policies, preparing or reviewing employment offers, contracts, and severance packages, and providing thoughtful advice around the myriad of situations arising in the workplace. She is also able to advise on issues related to human rights legislation. Kristen is a litigation lawyer who represents individuals and businesses in civil and commercial matters. After articling at Patterson Law, she clerked at the Federal Court of Appeal for the Honourable Justice Wyman W. Webb and at the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal. She began as an associate in 2021. Kristen’s interests include public law and general commercial disputes.
Privacy Rights: What are the latest developments in the workplace?
Daniel W. Ingersoll, Partner, Cox & Palmer
Dan is the Managing Partner of Cox & Palmer’s Halifax office. Dan’s practice concentrates mainly on employment, labour and administrative law. He also provides advice with respect to employment contracts, employee terminations, collective agreement interpretation, labour standards, workplace investigations, occupational health and safety, workers’ compensation, and human rights.

Noella Martin, Partner, Labour and Employment Lawyer at Wickwire Holm
Noella has represented employers at virtually every type of labour or employment related hearing, including at the Labour Board, arbitrations and all levels of court. Noella has acted as chief spokesperson in collective bargaining and has appeared before and been a member of interest arbitration boards.
Noella has acted in a number of matters involving minority language education rights, including appearing as counsel for the Conseil scolaire acadien provincial at the Supreme Court of Canada.
