Awards Committee
The Awards Selection Committee promotes the Nova Scotia Professional CPHR Awards and selects the recipients of the unique award categories including Award of Excellence, Rising Star Award and HR Team of the Year Award

Complaints & Discipline Committee
The Complaints & Discipline Committee handles professional and ethical complaints against Chartered and Candidate members.  


Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Committee
The CPD Committee reviews annual submissions ensuring reporting requirements are met to maintain the CPHR Designation.

 

Editorial Committee
The Editorial Committee assists CPHR Nova Scotia to plan, source, edit and write content for the CPHR Atlantic biannual publication PROMPTU Magazine.

 

Insights Circle Committee
The CPHR Nova Scotia Insights Circle Committee serves as a sounding board for ideas, gathers feedback, and fosters networking opportunities among members.

 

Mentorship Committee
The Mentorship Committee is made up of CPHR Nova Scotia members in good standing who act in an advisory capacity to CPHR Nova Scotia staff with regard to the structure and function of the Mentorship Program, and who assist CPHR Nova Scotia staff with mentor/protégée matching twice per year (March and August).

Professional Development Committee
The PD Committee assists with topics and speakers for learning events throughout the year and annual conference.

Social Committee
The Social Committee creates networking and social events for members outside of professional development events. 

 

Validation of Experience (VOE) Committee
The VOE Committee meets twice a year to review VOE applications received and make recommendations if experience requirement has been met and eligible to obtain the CPHR Designation.

• In order to recognize your voluntary commitment with CPHR Nova Scotia, you must track your volunteer hours in our Volunteer Time Log. Upon completion, please submit this log to hello@cphrns.ca
