This area will provide information and updates on the process for nominating and confirming the 2021/22 Board of Directors.

Positions open for the 2021/22 Term are:

     Directors at Large (one-two openings, two year term)

Time Commitment
The Board typically meets 4-6 times a year with approximately three of the meetings held in person at the CPHR Nova Scotia Training Room in Halifax. The balance are held by virtually.  Travel expenses for Directors travelling from other locations in NS are covered by the Association.  In-person meetings are usually scheduled for 3.5 hours and teleconference meetings 1.5 hours maximum. Meetings are scheduled for the year at the beginning of each Board Term.  
Preparation time is required in advance of each meeting to review and consider the materials. That time commitment varies depending on the topics discussed however is typically very manageable. The time commitment for the positions of President and Treasurer are higher as a result of the additional responsibilities for those positions outside of the regular Board Meetings.
