CPHR CPD: 1.0
Session Topic
Have you ever encountered a new idea or fad in HR only for it to appear familiar? Topics like quiet quitting, hybrid work, or even burnout are cast by experts as 'top trends to look out for' each year. However, are they really all that new? This session takes a deep dive into techniques of evidence-based management, particularly developing skills for rapid evidence assessment, to explore if what we are being asked to consider 'new' or 'innovation' is actually repackaged ideas from yesteryear. The objective of this interactive session is to develop critical thinking skills to appreciate HR as an evolving field.
