CHRP CPD Hours: 3.0
HR Competency: Health, Wellness, and Safe Workplace
We are pleased to partner with NSGEU to bring our members NSGEU's nationally recognized learning on Bully-Free Workplaces.
Bullying is a psychological hazard in the workplace. Everyone has a responsibility to stop it and work towards a bully-free workplace. Workplace bullying is unwanted and unreasonable behaviour directed toward an individual or group of workers that creates a risk to health and safety. Workplace bullying can also affect an organization through reduced productivity, increased staff turnover, and legal costs.
Workplace bullying can be subtle and hidden or obvious. Not all conflict situations in the workplace constitute bullying or harassment. It is important to recognize the difference.
This leadership training is specifically for managers, supervisors, and HR professionals. In addition to exploring the effects of workplace bullying on the individual, co-workers, family, and the workplace, this session will discuss workplace policies, investigations, re-integration, and application of the National Standard on Psychological Health & Safety in the Workplace.
About the Facilitator
The NSGEU has been recognized nationally and internationally for its leadership role in developing and implementing facilitated programs to address bullying and psychological health in the workplace. Their program aligns with the main objectives of the National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace.
