CHRP CPD Points: 2.0
You've read about it in the news...from large conglomerates to independent brokers, mergers and acquisitions are taking place in many industries, and they are on the rise. With this in mind, how can HR Professionals directly impact the success of a merger/acquisition? Join this session to learn about how HR can have a strategic influence on the people strategy. Discover the importance of relationship building and HR acquisition stages. Hear about the employees' perspective and how to prepare for enculturation.
Merging businesses is a highly complex process and you will find people at the heart of many decisions. Through M&A, you will need to employ your change management knowledge to help lead people (both colleagues and acquired employees) through the journey. Whether you've contributed as a team member to M&A, directed a full-scale acquisition or want to learn more about the basics, participants will take away insight, technical knowledge, and shared experiences.
