Communication for the Payroll Professional (1-day seminar)
This new interactive workshop designed for payroll professionals who want to build their written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills was developed by MaxPeople in cooperation with the Canadian Payroll Association.
Payroll practitioners are not only responsible for ensuring employees have been paid correctly and on time, but they must also be able to communicate legislative changes and respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
This workshop will provide you with tools to enhance your communications skills, enabling you to add value to your organization by communicating in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences: employees, managers, stakeholders and suppliers.
This workshop will prepare you to understand the key elements of the communication process, enhance your writing skills, develop active listening skills, communicate with influence and delegate for results. Participants will have the opportunity to develop an action plan to hone their new skills and "make-it-stick" back at work.
Halifax – Friday, October 21, 2016
