Checklist for Eligibility

Prior to submitting your application for the Foundational Course Requirement assessment, please ensure that you have met the criteria below as a refund will not be provided.

1. Confirm completion of all nine course equivalencies
2. An average of C+ or 65% in all courses and no course can be below C or 60%

An official transcript sent directly to CPHR Nova Scotia by the granting educational institution will be required as proof of course completion and to ensure you have met the minimum grade requirement. You must make arrangements yourself for the educational institution to send that to us for receipt within ten business days of applying for this assessment.

Once received, the application will be reviewed and the applicant notified of the result by email. Please allow 7-10 business days for the assessment to be completed. If you are assessed as eligible to write the NKE, your membership renewal will be updated to "Associate - NKE Ready" and you can register for the NKE online
