Building a Breakthrough Mindset with Warren Macdonald

If we can't see where it is we need to go, what are the chances of getting there?  If your team can't see where you are going, what are the chances that they will come onboard?  In navigating change and overcoming the challenges that come with it, we address the foundation and root cause of why we often get stuck or become disengaged.  Warren Macdonald's life's boundaries were redefined in 1997 when he became trapped beneath a one-ton boulder in a freak rock fall during a climbing expedition. 

Workplace Safety Leadership with Stuart MacLean, CEO, Workers' Compensation Board of Nova Scotia

Stuart MacLean joined WCB Nova Scotia in 1986.  His passion for health and safety quickly grew as he assumed progressive leadership roles.  He was appointed Chief Executive Officer in January 2012.  Throughout his career, Stuart has come to know first-hand the impact of workplace injuries and fatalities on workers and their families.  He is a true safety champion with an unwavering passion for preventing workplace injury.

Pricing is outlined below.  You must successfully register online within the period noted to obtain that rate.  Adjustments cannot be made after the rate has closed.

Once registered, an email is automatically sent to the registrant when registration is completed online.  If you do not receive an email, members may check their online profile (by logging into this website) to confirm their registration went through.  

Regular Pricing (February/March) - Wednesday Only

HRANS Member $525 plus HST ($603.75) 
Non-Member $675 plus HST ($776.25)

Last Minute Pricing (April 1-28) - Wednesday Only

HRANS Member $650 plus HST ($747.50)
Non-Member $800 plus HST ($920.00)

How To Register - For Wednesday Only

To register, click on the register link above.   You must register online within the stated periods above to qualify for any discounted rates.

To access member rates, log in using your username and password then register for the conference.  The member rates will calculate automatically when you are logged in.  Ensure that you are logged in and the correct pricing is showing before you register as adjustments cannot be made after registration has been completed.

Registering Someone Other Than Yourself?
If you are registering someone else and they are a HRANS member, they must register themselves under their own membership log-in.  Do not register someone else while logged into your own profile.  

Registering someone that is not a member? Do not log in, simply register them from the public area of the website.

Important Terms and Conditions of Registration

One-Day Pass Only: If registering on this page, you are selecting a one-day delegate pass only (Wednesday).  You will not be permitted access to the other day, namebadge will only be valid for the day purchased.

Payment:  Full payment is due with online registration (Visa/Mastercard) or by cheque mailed to our office.  All payments must be received by us within 30 days of your registration or by April 28 (whichever is earlier).  Registrations April 20th or later must be paid online at time of registration by Visa/Mastercard.  

If paying online by Visa/Mastercard, you must have the billing address for the card you are using and enter it exactly as it appears on the credit card statement or the transaction will be declined.  This is a security feature for your protection.

Pass Sharing Not Permitted:  Pass sharing is not permitted and will be monitored throughout the Conference.  Only registered delegates will be permitted access to the conference area.

Cancellation Policy:  Cancellations received in writing by February 28, 2017 will be subject to a $150 plus HST cancellation fee.  Cancellations after February 28th are non-refundable (regardless of date of registration).  Substitutions are permitted up to May 8th and include a processing fee of $40 plus HST and must be submitted in writing to us by the registered participant.  Member/non-member rates will also be applied to the substitution, in addition to the $40 plus HST processing fee.  

Privacy Statement:  By registering for this event, you are giving consent to our Association to use this information for conference registration and for contacting you for event-related purposes including future conference and similar events.

CHRP Continuing Professional Development Hours

The educational sessions attended qualify for Continuing Professional Development Hours at one hour per hour of educational session attended (for our member CPHRs).  The networking breaks qualify for CPD Formal Professional Networking based on time spent networking with delegates and exhibitors.
